Our Story
From a wake-up call to a family promise. The story behind Yu Fit, in six chapters.
Chapter One
Yu Fit was built from a real life transformation. The journey started when I was getting out of breath doing simple things — tying my shoes, keeping up with my kids.
I saw myself becoming lazy and unhealthy. That was my wake-up call. I decided it was time to change my life, mentally and physically.
Chapter Two
The name "Yu Fit" comes from my childhood nickname — Yuyo. My cousins couldn't pronounce "Junior," so they started calling me Yuyo, and the name stayed with me ever since.
The brand carries the family with it.
Chapter Three
The Spartan logo comes from my family. Growing up, all my cousins would gather at my aunt's house to play volleyball together — and the day we decided to call ourselves the Spartans.
That name became a symbol of strength, unity, championship, and family. That spirit became part of the brand.
Chapter Four
"Get Grande" carries the deepest meaning of all. Grande was the nickname of my cousin who passed away. He brought energy, motivation, and presence everywhere he went.
"Get Grande" means pushing yourself to become bigger than your excuses, stronger than your struggles, and better than you were yesterday.
Chapter Five
The combat side of Yu Fit came from my kids being involved in kickboxing. I started supporting and sponsoring them as they trained and competed. Watching their dedication inspired me even more.
That's when Yu Fit expanded into combat sports and training gear, built for people pushing goals, discipline, and confidence.
Chapter Six
It's more than fitness apparel or gym gear.
It's about family, transformation, discipline, and becoming the strongest version of yourself.
